About Us

Team Terrabats was created to bring teens with interest in STEM and robotics to come together in a neutral and creative space to work and learn from each other. Our goal is to Influence, Inspire, and Impact within the local community, by bringing STEM awareness and education to our community irrespective of socioeconomic status.  and help them pursue these fields through FIRST! We all love the different aspects of STEM and FIRST, and use the problem-solving and teamwork skills we gained throughout our FTC journey.  Our team has grown significantly from its inception by the addition of new members. We named our team “Terrabats” with “Terra” meaning earth to represent community and “Bats” to represent sophisticated technology.  

In our team, we have 4 team members. Shuhul and Pratik, are our veteran team members. Our other team members are: Nithin and Ananya. We all go to a variety of schools: Evergreen Valley High School and Chaboya Middle School. We are proud members of FIRST and have achieved multiple awards including: the Inspire award, Winning Robot award, Connect award, Think award, etc. Our team is organized so that each member has a main role they are responsible for, while also doing work on every other aspect. At the beginning of the season, team members  get assigned their main role by choice,  which helps them build and work successfully in their own comfortable environments and by working in and helping the other teams they also get exposed to the other areas.
